HRACO meetings and seminars present a vast array of "best practice HR services and solutions" in contemporary HR issues and trends to add value and achieve business results. Through participation, you receive valuable subject material to aid in the development, benchmarking and/or enhancement to your organization's current practices and solutions.

Do you proactively network with other HR professionals? HRACO's monthly meetings provide a great opportunity to meet and share information on HR trends and issues with other HR and organizational professionals. Having a HR network to discuss and share past experiences, new ideas, opinions and views when developing and implementing HR services can provide tremendous insight for your next high priority and critical project.

Are you prepared for PHR or SPHR Certification?
Have you considered being nationally recognized for your professional achievement by adding the PHR or SPHR certification to your credentials? To help participants prepare for the PHR or SPHR certification exam, HRACO offers a Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) eight-week review course. The HRCI course content covers Management and General Employment Practices, Compensation and Benefits, Staffing, HR Development, Employee and Labor Relations, and Health Safety and Security. The course is also an excellent introduction for new HR practitioners, as well as a review for all HR professionals.

Get Involved.
Do you want to get involved in the organization? There are many ways to get involved through committees, special interest groups, and board membership. There is also opportunity to give back to the community by becoming a mentor to a college student.

This includes regular updates on HR legal, legislative and diversity issues in addition to upcoming HRACO programs and membership information.

HRACO membership dues are $125 for new members and $100 for annual renewal. Membership is open to all persons living or working in the Central Ohio area who meet membership criteria regardless of race, religion, sex, age, national origin, sexual orientation, physical ability, or military veteran status. Regular members are actively employed in one or more functions of human resources management in private business, industry, non-profit organizations, or government. Regular members may also represent other professions whose work directly relates to human resources such as consultants, faculty members, attorneys, or employment representatives.
