Compensation and Benefits SIG

This SIG is designed to provide human resource professionals with the opportunity to network and discuss issues specifically relating to compensation and benefits.

This is an excellent resource tool to build your skills and to find out what other Central Ohio companies are doing and to share thoughts and ideas in a round table discussion format.

We meet for lunch quarterly and discuss a specific topic lead by HR professionals speaking about such issues as executive compensation, wellness plans, ADA, FMLA, compensation as a part of recruiting, and more.

Meetings are free and open to all HRACO members as well as any HR professional in Central Ohio who is interested in discussing Compensation andBenefits within organizations. Check the Events Calendar for upcoming meeting dates and registration information.

Public Sector SIG

Do you work in the public sector? Do you want to share human resource ideas, philosophy and challenges with your colleagues and peers?

Join HRACO’s Public Sector Special Interest Group. As an arm of HRACO, the Public Sector SIG meets quarterly to discuss and emphasize the needs of public sector HR employees as well as building networks and resources for you.

Staffing Management SIG

Are you a third party recruiter, a corporate recruiter, an HR professional, or someone who has an interest in employment? Would you like to attend more intimate meetings that focus on all aspects of employment and staffing-related issues?

Join HRACO's Staffing Management SIG! The Staffing Management SIG meets quarterly to discuss employment and staffing related topics and features local guest speakers. Our 2006 speakers included HR and recruitment professionals from Schottenstein, Zox and Dunn; Deloitte and Touche; OhioHealth; WorkLife, LLC; Ulmer and Berne, LLP; and NAS Recruitment Communications.

The quarterly SM-SIG meetings for 2007 will be April 10 (a joint lunch meeting with HRACO), June 21, September 20, and November 29. There is no membership requirement to attend SM-SIG meetings, only a fee for the meeting. All Staffing Management meetings are breakfast meetings, beginning at 7:45 a.m. at The Fawcett Center.
