Scholarship Application
Two HRACO scholarships will be awarded in early 2010 in the amount of $2000 each. These scholarships are awarded based on a number of factors, including:
- Academic performance
- Demonstrated leadership
- Human Resources related experience
- Human Resources related extracurricular activities
- Career goals
- Overall presentation capabilities
In order to be considered eligible for a scholarship, the following requirements must be met:
- Must be a full-time student
- Must be pursuing a course of study related to the Human Resources field
- Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in your major, with a minimum of 2.75 overall
- Prior HRACO scholarship recipients are not eligible
- Submittal of all documentation by January 10, 2010
- Must attend a college/university located in central Ohio
In order to be fully considered, you must also complete and submit PDF versions of the following documents (all documents are limited to a maximum of 1MB each):
- an essay questionnaire (download the PDF template here, save it to you local computer, fill out the PDF and then save the file again---this will be the file you upload on the next page next to the "Essay" label)
- a resume
- two (2) written letters of recommendation from employers and/or professors (these can be scanned in and attached)
Once you have the four documents listed above go to READY TO APPLY to provide some basic information. Then submit the documents listed above to the Application Committee. (Note: If you need help getting your resume or letters of recommendation in PDF format, contact your placement organization or advisor.)
